these terms cover the on-demand chair program at cult, 12 ne 10th ave, portland, oregon (“cult”), and the booking app at culthairpdx.com/app.html. by creating an account you agree to them.

who this is for

licensed stylists, barbers and other beauty professionals who work for themselves. you rent space and time at cult. you are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of cult. you run your own business, set your own prices, keep your own clients and are responsible for your own taxes.

before you can book

to book you need an approved account, an active membership, and a current license, liability insurance and signed contractor form on file that stay valid through the day you book. we may decline or remove an account if documents are missing, expired or inaccurate.

membership and chair time

there is no lease and no minimum term. membership is $29 per month and renews until you cancel, and you only pay for the chair time you buy. chair time is bought as credits: 1 credit equals $1 of chair time at the standard rate. a half day is $65 and a full day is $100. larger packs are discounted. credits do not expire. prices may change for future purchases; credits you already hold keep their value.

blocks and access

the morning block runs 9:00 am to 2:45 pm and the afternoon block runs 3:15 pm to 9:00 pm, pacific time. you may book up to 120 days ahead. door codes work from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and are sent to you by text. do not share your code or let anyone in who has not booked.

cancellations

cancel at least 24 hours before your block starts and the full amount returns to you as credits. cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice and half returns. after the block ends, nothing returns. if you cancel one half of a same-day, same-chair pair, the half you keep is repriced at the half-day rate. you may ask for up to three courtesy reviews per rolling year for real emergencies; these are at the owner’s discretion.

care of the space

leave your station clean and as you found it, wipe down tools and surfaces, and report anything broken or unsafe. you are responsible for damage you or your guests cause. repeated problems may lead to a review of your access.

insurance and liability

you are responsible for your own work, your clients and your own tools and products. cult is not liable for your clients’ claims, for loss of your belongings, or for lost income. nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

payments

payments are handled by stripe. cult never sees or stores your full card number. membership renews monthly until cancelled.

ending access

you can stop using the program any time and ask about unused credits. we may suspend or end access for safety, non-payment, false information or breaking these terms.

changes and contact

we may update these terms and will post the new date here. oregon law applies. questions: hello@culthairpdx.com.
