this explains what the cult booking app and website collect, why, and who handles it.

what we collect

name, email address and phone number when you sign up; your license, insurance and contractor documents when you upload them; your bookings, credits, membership status and payments history; and basic technical data such as your browser type when you use the app.

why

to create your account, check your documents, take payment, book chairs, send you confirmations, reminders and door codes, and keep the space safe. we do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.

who handles it

we use a small set of service providers: supabase (database, sign-in and private document storage), stripe (payments), resend (email), and cloudflare (website hosting). they process data for us under their own privacy terms. card numbers go straight to stripe and never reach us.

who can see your documents

your uploaded documents are stored privately. only you and the cult owner can open them. other stylists cannot see them.

how long we keep it

we keep account and booking records while your account is open and for as long afterward as needed for taxes, disputes and safety. documents are kept while they are needed to verify you and then removed on request, unless the law or an open dispute requires us to keep them.

your choices

you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or close your account, by emailing hello@culthairpdx.com. you can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time; account and booking emails will still be sent.
