chair credits, the easy version
your chair credit bank is money you spend on chair time. a full day is $100, a half day is $65.

chair credits never expire and are non-refundable. refunds, if ever given, are at sean’s discretion and based on what you actually paid, not the bank balance. book up to 120 days ahead.

how it works
- book a meet & greet. pick a monday time below: 30 minutes, 10am–4pm. no account needed.
- tour the room and go over the terms. see the stations, ask questions, and walk through how booking, chair credits and cancellations work.
- sean launches your application. once you’re both in, you get an email that opens your application.
- create your account and upload your documents in the cult app with that same email: oregon cosmetology license, liability insurance and oregon independent contractor registration.
- get approved and start your membership. $29 a month.
- your first day is free. 100 chair credits, one full day of chair time, land in your account automatically. book it, then buy more days whenever you need them.

questions
who can join?
licensed, insured, independent stylists who’ve done a meet & greet. you’ll need an oregon license, liability insurance and an oregon independent contractor registration, all valid through the days you book.
what does “approved” mean?
after your meet & greet, sean opens your application. he then checks your documents, and once approved, you can book any open chair. if a document expires, the app asks you to upload the new one before you can book past that date.
how do my clients book with me?
keep using your own booking system and prices. the cult app books your chair time; your clients book with you.
what if i need to cancel?
cancel 24 hours or more before your block and the full amount goes back to your account as chair credits. inside 24 hours you get half back. real emergencies can be reviewed, up to three times a year, at sean’s discretion.
how does the free day work?
when your application is approved and your first membership payment goes through, 100 chair credits (one full day) are added to your account automatically. one per stylist.
will my membership price go up?
not while you stay a member. your monthly price is locked for as long as your membership stays active. if you cancel, or your membership ends because a payment couldn’t be collected, rejoining is at the membership price at that time.
do chair credits expire? can i get a refund?
chair credits never expire. they are non-refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash, so think of them as chair time you’ve already bought. a cancelled booking puts its chair credits back in your bank. in a true emergency, sean may review a refund at his discretion, based on what you actually paid, not the bank balance.
